Cancellation Policy

- More than 30 days before arrival: Only the deposit will be retained, but it can be used toward a future booking (the booking must be made within one year). - Less than 30 days before arrival: 60% of the agreed total price - Less than 8 days before arrival: 100% of the agreed total price Please understand that in the event of a no-show, we will charge 100% of the total stay in addition to the deposit. Please inform us in a timely manner if you are unable to take your vacation. Early departure: In the event of early departure (regardless of whether the length of stay was agreed upon verbally or in writing), the accommodation costs (room rate excluding meals) for the remaining days of the booking will be charged.

What credit cards are Ciastel at Ciastel ?

We accept debit cards (EC / Maestro International) as well as the following credit cards from VISA and MASTERCARD.

What can I do if I don't have a credit card but want to guarantee my reservation?

You are also welcome to transfer the amount in advance or send us a letter of financial commitment bearing the official signature of an Austrian company.

What happens if I arrive after 11:00 p.m.?

For arrivals after 11:00 p.m., we charge a surcharge of €39. Please let us know by phone or email.

Can I have another person stay in the apartment?

This depends on the size of the apartment. Any additional guests must be registered. A surcharge per night will be applied, depending on the apartment and the season. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Can I bring my dog to the apartment? Are pets allowed?

You are welcome to bring your dog (one dog per apartment, maximum) for an additional fee of EUR 19.00 per day. Other pets are not allowed. Pets are not allowed in the RIT and FORDORA apartments.

Does the Ciastel facilities for babies and children?

The following are available free of charge: sturdy cribs with bedding, a kettle, and a high chair in the breakfast room. We’re happy to warm up baby food or milk for you in the kitchen at any time.

What is the parking situation like there?

Parking is, of course, available free of charge

Is there a luggage storage room?

You can drop off your luggage at the front desk free of charge either on the day of arrival before check-in or on the day of departure after check-out.

Is there Ciastel internet access at Ciastel ? Is it free? Are there Wi-Fi hotspots?

Free Wi-Fi is available in all apartments as well as in the common areas. You will need login credentials, which you can obtain at the front desk.

Is the tap water safe to drink?

The tap water in St. Vigiler comes directly from mountain springs and is of excellent drinking water quality.

Is there a laundry, ironing, and dry cleaning service?

If you drop off your laundry by 9:00 a.m., it will be washed, ironed, or dry-cleaned within one business day (Mon–Fri). Please refer to the price list in the apartment for rates.

Are there towels in the wellness area?

There are no towels in the wellness area, but we’d be happy to provide you with a sauna set (consisting of 1 bathrobe, 2 towels, and flip-flops) for a rental fee of €6.

Do I need to bring my own bathrobe for the spa area?

We are happy to provide you with a sauna set for a rental fee of €6 per person.

Is there Ciastel restaurant at Ciastel ?

Our osteria is open daily from 6:00 p.m. (Closed on Wednesdays).

Do you offer half-board?

We are happy to offer you dinner at a special price of €24 per person. This includes a 3-course meal. We offer this service six days a week, as our Osteria is closed on Wednesdays. (Coperto: €3 per person) Please note: This service is only available to guests who have already selected the rate that includes breakfast.

Do I have to decide whether I want breakfast or not when I make the reservation?

You can decide to have the breakfast buffet even at the last minute. However, advance registration is required.

As a guest, can I invite outside guests to join us for breakfast? As an outside guest, can I have breakfast at the Osteria?

You're welcome! Breakfast is charged at EUR 25.00 per person.

Does Ciastel offer food options for people with lactose or gluten intolerance, wheat allergies, or diabetes?

We would be happy to arrange appropriate breakfast items for you. Please let us know when you make your reservation.

Where can I buy tickets for public transportation?

All our guests receive a free guest card from us, which allows them to use all public transportation throughout South Tyrol.
