The aristocratic residence ‘Rost’
In addition to our farm, an old aristocratic residence belongs to our family property. It was once inhabited by the noble family Rost in the years around 1300, who had the task to collect taxes for the clergy in San Lorenzo di Sebato.
As we did not want this unique seat to remain unused, we completely restored it for three and a half years and were then able to open the current holiday home with Osteria in 2014.
The oldest walls of the building are still from the 14th century and under the later added roof the old battlements are still visible. Also the wood paneling of the living room was gently reinstalled after the renovation and invites today in its original composition our guests for breakfast and dinner.
The aparments in the holiday home are kept typically rustic and reminds you about its history.

There is always something going on on a farm. However, the trappings also exude a certain amount of calm. At our place you can enjoy both sides during your vacation.
Anyone who likes has the possibility to support us at our daily farm work. However, if you prefer to enjoy only the farm atmosphere then you can relax in the sun with an unrestricted view and pamper yourself with our farm products. Otherwise, our animals will be happy about every attention. Our farm includes our dog Lucky, our cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, running ducks, pigs, chickens, cows, and calves.
The apartments in our dependance are all kept in a rustic country style and guarantee with loving details a relaxing holiday in San Vigilio.
