In the 13th-century castle, the former summer residence of the Prince-Bishops of Brixen, Reinhold Messner has dedicated this exhibition to the various mountain peoples he had the opportunity to meet during his travels.

Here you can learn more about the different ways of life in the world’s mountains and get a glimpse into the harsh daily lives of mountain dwellers. The visit can be perfectly combined with a stroll through the medieval town of Bruneck.
